Russian President Vladimir Putin held a video conference meeting with permanent members of the country's Security Council.
According to Kremlin Spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the meeting participants discussed the situation around Iran.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni also held an emergency cabinet meeting after the government confirmed the attack on the country's military base in Kuwait, where 300 soldiers are stationed. The Italian government confirmed that there were no casualties in the attack.
