Today, Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Davit Khudatyan received a delegation led by Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures reported this.
The Minister welcomed Mariam Kvrivishvili to Armenia and highlighted the need to deepen multi-sectoral cooperation with Georgia.
Mariam Kvrivishvili thanked for the warm welcome and emphasized that Armenia is a strategic partner for Georgia.
During the meeting, bilateral agenda issues in the energy and transport sectors were discussed.
Minister Khudatyan emphasized that Armenia attaches great importance to the construction of an Armenia-Georgia air power transmission line, which will allow exporting more electricity to Georgia.
Both sides also emphasized the development of the aviation sector and the need to implement direct flights between Armenian and Georgian cities.
At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to draw up an action plan to implement the outlined programs.
