During a panel discussion at the Munich Security Conference, European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos emphasized that the European Union supports peace processes in the South Caucasus.
She stressed that peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has opened new doors, and that the European Union is pleased to cooperate with both countries in shaping global routes.
According to her, enormous changes are taking place in the Middle Corridor, and this would not have been possible without stability in the South Caucasus.
“Europe sees that the TRIPP project could represent real progress for the region,” Marta Kos added.
The European Commissioner also noted that the European Union is compiling a list of specific projects with Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Turkey to define priorities for cooperation.
