Ukraine is expanding its energy resilience programs, introducing new support mechanisms for apartment buildings and homes, said president Volodymyr Zelenskyy in his Monday's video address.
He stressed that homeowners associations will receive broader access to purchase generators and essential equipment, while assistance for autonomous power systems in private houses will also be increased. Funding for existing initiatives is growing as demand continues to rise.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also said that energy remains the country’s top priority, with additional repair crews deployed across regions to restore infrastructure after Russian strikes. The government has also expanded the heat package program to 40,000 packages per week.
Zelenskyy highlighted ongoing coordination with the Ministry of Defense, diplomats, and the negotiating team ahead of major international security meetings in Europe and with the United States.
He noted progress on securing Starlink systems and stressed the need to ensure stable supplies of drones and other equipment for the armed forces.
The president emphasized that reliable security guarantees are essential for achieving lasting peace and that documents on security guarantees are ready.
He said Ukraine expects its partners to remain aligned in strengthening defense and working toward a dignified and sustainable end to the war.
