“We have expressed a clear desire to renew the strategic partnership with the U.S.,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters, Georgian Public Broadcaster reports.
The PM responded to a question on the meeting of Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili with U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
“It is significant that this communication took place. We have expressed a clear desire to renew the strategic partnership with the U.S. from a clean page and with a concrete roadmap reflecting the interests and principles of both sides, and we are patiently awaiting the responsive steps to be taken,” he said.
