Iran and the United States can establish cooperation in the energy sector on condition of the existence of an agreement on the nuclear deal and the lifting of sanctions against Tehran. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
“I think that this can be one of the results of the agreement. If we can solve the nuclear issue and reach a new agreement on the nuclear deal, which is based on Iran’s peaceful nuclear program, and sanctions are lifted, then conditions can be created for cooperation in the energy sector and the implementation of projects based on common interests. We are able to protect ourselves, and we do not need anyone,” the diplomat said in an interview with CNN Turk.
