Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov met with a delegation from the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee.
The current regional situation, the significance of the agreements reached within the framework of the Washington Peace Summit on August 8, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and measures taken in connection with the peace agreement were discussed.
The draft US-Azerbaijan Strategic Partnership Charter, as well as other issues of mutual interest on the bilateral agenda, were touched upon.
