The internationally renowned Fitch Ratings agency has upgraded Armenia’s credit rating outlook to 'positive' and affirmed the rating at the 'BB-' level. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this on his Facebook page.
“This is not merely a statistical change; it is a professional confirmation that the economic policy adopted by Armenia and its institutional stability are gaining a qualitatively new weight in international markets.
It is a vote of confidence directed at our country’s economic resilience and political will.
Armenia’s economic development process is entering a new phase of confidence.
I congratulate us all,” the Prime Minister wrote.
