In Ukraine, after Russian attacks on the energy sector, not a single power plant has remained undamaged. Moreover, many regions have failed to prepare for winter.
This was stated by the First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Energy Denys Shmyhal during the government question time in the Verkhovna Rada on Friday, January 16.
Overall, the most challenging situation in the energy sector is observed in Kyiv, Odesa region, and frontline communities.
According to him, the number of resilience points is currently increasing, as well as the import of electricity from EU countries.
Shmyhal also noted that reserve energy equipment is being redistributed between regions to ensure the stable operation of critical facilities.
