As of now, to the best of my knowledge, an initial $140 million has already been allocated for the preparatory phase of the project, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at a briefing, responding to a question from a Public Television journalist about the size of the investment by an American company within the framework of TRIPP.
“Regarding specific investments, concrete projects still need to be formulated, which is linked to design and cost-estimate calculations. However, it is obvious that the investments will be substantial. Today, no one can give you a specific figure, because if, for example, a railway needs to be built, how much does that railway cost and how much investment is required, no one can say that today. There may be expert assessments, but a feasibility study and a project are required. Only after the project is approved and the calculations are completed, will the cost of each individual project become clear,” Pashinyan said.
