The Armenia-United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework document for 2026-2030 was signed at the Armenian government by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia, Francoise Jacob, the Government reports.
First, the deputy premier delivered welcoming remarks, after which the UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia presented the main content of this document and the framework for cooperation.
From the perspective of developing Armenia-UN cooperation, both sides emphasized the importance of approving this document and implementing further joint programs within its framework.
Also, Mher Grigoryan stressed that the Armenian government is determined to continue reforms in all the noted domains and is happy to pursue this path together with Armenia’s development partners.
“Our new cooperation framework is fully aligned with the [Armenian] government’s priorities and enables to combine development policy with Armenia’s peace agenda. This allows us to have unified, coordinated, and future-oriented programmatic cooperation,” the Armenian deputy PM added.
