Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Berlin, where he held a business roundtable with a group of businessmen and representatives of economic unions as part of his official visit to Germany.
According to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office, the German Eastern Business Association’s Executive Director, Michael Harms, expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister for the meeting and noted that German businessmen are interested in cooperation with Armenia. He described the meeting as a good opportunity to learn about existing possibilities and prospects.
“Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that the Government of Armenia is interested in the consistent development and expansion of economic ties with Germany, adding that in recent times a positive dynamic has been recorded in trade turnover. Nikol Pashinyan also spoke about the reforms being carried out to improve the business environment in Armenia, the opportunities for investments in various sectors of the economy, as well as the prospects emerging in the context of regional developments.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister also answered a number of questions of interest to the business representatives,” the Prime Minister’s Office said in the press release.
