The peace processes between Armenia and Azerbaijan create great prospects in the field of regional communications, said António Costa, President of the European Council, who is on an official visit to Kazakhstan.
According to him, at the EU-Central Asia summit held in April, an agreement was reached to accelerate the development of the Middle Corridor.
“The Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty also opens up new opportunities for the full development of the Trans-Caspian route, which connects Asia with Europe and provides access to the Black Sea,” Costa noted.
