Within the framework of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and Connectivity Investors Conference held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, Davit Khudatyan, participated in a panel discussion titled 'A Comprehensive Agenda for Ensuring Connectivity in Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and the Black Sea Region'. The information was reported by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of Armenia.
During the panel discussion, the Minister responded to questions mainly concerning Armenia’s vision and strategic priorities in a reopened South Caucasus.
Khudatyan emphasized that the strategic priorities of the Government of Armenia include the unblocking of regional infrastructure and the full implementation of the Crossroads of Peace project, including the launch of the TRIPP route. By promoting the Crossroads of Peace project, Armenia aims to ensure transport connectivity along the North–South and East–West directions.
Implementation of this initiative will contribute to stimulating regional trade, as well as expanding the capacity of the Middle Corridor by creating additional routes passing through Armenia.
Participants of the panel discussion also included Uzbekistan’s Minister of Transport Ilhom Makhkamov, France’s Minister of Transport and representative of an international financial institution Philippe Tabarot, Georgia’s Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev, and Kazakhstan’s Minister of Transport Nurlan Sauranbayev.
