U.S. President Donald Trump has planned to dispatch his representatives to Moscow and Kyiv. Special envoy Steve Witkoff will travel to Moscow on Trump’s instructions to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin to coordinate the final version of the peace plan regarding Ukraine. Most likely, Witkoff will be accompanied by Trump’s son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, who is also involved in the process.
Meanwhile, U.S. Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll, whom Trump has appointed as negotiator on the Ukraine issue, will hold consultations on the same topic with the Ukrainian side in Kyiv. Trump announced this on his Truth Social page.
“The original 28-Point Peace Plan, which was drafted by the United States, has been fine-tuned, with additional input from both sides, and there are only a few remaining points of disagreement,” Trump
wrote.
