On November 19, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan met with the Team Leader of the Service for Foreign Policy Instruments of the European Commission Io Kerstin Schmid.
Issues regarding the deepening cooperation between Armenia and the European Union were discussed. Arman Yeghoyan highlighted the EU assistance to the implementation of the reforms in different fields, as well as the role of the EU Observation Mission deployed in Armenia.
Reference was made to the regional issues. The Committee Chair spoke about the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process and presented the process of normalizing Armenia-Türkiye relations.
The guests expressed their willingness to support Armenia in the process of establishing long-lasting peace in the region.
