Armenian Foreign Ministry reports that nn November 17, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Republic of Armenia, Genet Teshome Jirru (residence in Moscow), on the occasion of the presentation of the copy of his credentials.
During the meeting, the parties touched upon the close historical ties between the peoples of Armenia and Ethiopia, emphasized the importance of enhancing economic cooperation and increasing interaction between the two friendly countries, and discussed the implementation of the agreements reached earlier this year during the political consultations held in Addis Ababa.
