During a conversation with journalists, U.S. President Donald Trump and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán addressed the Russia-Ukraine conflict. According to the Hungarian Prime Minister, his country is the only one in Europe striving for peace, as other European governments still believe that Ukraine can achieve victory.
Trump stated that Moscow does not want to stop the war but expressed hope that peace could eventually be achieved. Regarding a possible Trump-Putin meeting in Budapest, the U.S. President did not rule out the possibility, noting that it could take place once the right conditions are created and if it promises significant results.
