Train loaded with Russian wheat (15 wagons) has arrived in Armenia, passing through Azerbaijan and Georgia, Armenian Government Press office reports.
“The lifting of restrictions on cargo transportation to Armenia is an important step by Azerbaijan towards restoring regional communications and promoting economic cooperation.
It is one of the practical implementations of the agreements reached in Washington, contributing to the institutionalization of the peace established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
The move is also particularly important in the context of strengthening mutual trust and advancing the peace agenda”, the Government said in a press release.
