According to projections, oil production in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 28.5 million tons in 2025, which is 2.1% lower than in 2024.
From January to September 2025, Azerbaijan produced 20,675,700 tons of oil and condensate, a decrease of 4.6% compared to the first nine months of 2024.
In 2024, oil production totaled 29.1 million tons, down 3.6% from the 2023 figure.
According to budgetary documents, oil production in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 27.6 million tons in 2026, which would be 3.2% lower than the projected level for 2025.
