A six-story building has collapsed in the city of Gebze, 60 kilometers from Istanbul.
According to local media, there are no clear reports of casualties. Rescue teams are working at the scene.
According to A-haber TV channel, there may be about six people trapped in the rubble of the building.
Gebze Mayor Zinnur Büyükgöz told CNN-türk that two families of seven people lived in the building, but it is not yet known whether they were there at the time of the collapse.
It is also noted that construction work for the construction of a metro is underway in the nearby part of the building.
