On October 24, Russia's President Vladimir Putin and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a telephone conversation, the Kremlin press office reports.
“Following up on the conversation held on October 9 on the sidelines of the CIS Summit in Dushanbe, the leaders discussed a number of current bilateral agenda issues. Mutual commitment to further developing trade and economic ties and implementing joint projects in the energy and transport-logistics sectors was reaffirmed.
Additionally, certain aspects of regional cooperation and the international situation were addressed.
It was agreed to maintain contacts at various levels”, the press release reads.
