Volodymyr Zelensky did not achieve his goals in his meeting with Donald Trump, but there is no option for Ukraine to capitulate, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said.
He expressed the opinion that the talks in Washington showed the need to strengthen European assistance to Ukraine in all directions. According to him, the war can only be ended if Ukraine is militarily strong.
Ukraine's capitulation is not considered, because, according to the Chancellor, in that case Moscow could attack another European country.
