The prospects for the development of the Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran-Armenia logistics route were discussed in Yerevan.
The roundtable discussion took place at the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure in collaboration with the Diplomatic Club Astana.
It marked the final event of the 7-day exploratory logistics tour initiated by the Diplomatic Club Astana along the route. The purpose of the tour was to promote regional cooperation, strengthen reciprocal economic ties, and increase shipment efficiency.
Armenian Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Armen Simonyan, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Armenia Bolat Imanbayev, Iranian embassy staff, members of the Diplomatic Club Astana, representatives of the private sector, corporate executives, experts, and other officials and diplomats attended the meeting, according to a press release from the ministry.
During the discussion, Armenia's infrastructure, current conditions, and planned projects were presented. The possibilities for developing logistical routes were examined, along with options for involving the private sector and ways to implement new formats of regional cooperation.
