Dear compatriots,
Today is the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia, perhaps, the most important holiday of every Armenian and citizen of the Republic of Armenia.
On 21 September 1991, the Armenian people not only declared their free will to have an independent state, but also began a new era, where we ourselves control our destiny. It is true that the path to independence has not been easy. We have gone through years full of difficulties and ordeals, but it is these challenges that have taught us to form real ideas and free ourselves from the ideological false shackles imposed on us, which have impeded the development of the Republic of Armenia for years. Today, we are truly independent, realizing that independence and sovereignty can only be strengthened through peace. Peace is the key that opens up real prospects for the development of our country, creates a democratic, powerful and stable state, and ensures the dignified and safe life of our citizens. And so, the peace established on 8 August 2025, has brought us closer and closer to our dream of having an independent and sovereign Republic of Armenia.
Dear compatriots, I congratulate all of us on the Independence Day of the Republic of Armenia! May our independence and peace be eternal, our statehood - unshakable, and the future - bright and full of hope.
