Azerbaijan and Armenia will sign a peace agreement in the first half of 2026. This was announced by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.
“As soon as the final agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan is signed, we will also quickly normalize our relations with Armenia,” the Minister said.
On August 8, in Washington, at the White House, a joint declaration was signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, and the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.
In Washington, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, initialed the Agreement on the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.
