Reuters. U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday (September 3) reiterated his calls for Hamas to release all hostages and suggested Israel's war in Gaza would end if they did.
"Tell Hamas to IMMEDIATELY give back all 20 Hostages (Not 2 or 5 or 7!), and things will change rapidly. IT WILL END!," he said in a post on Truth Social.
In recent weeks, Israeli forces have advanced through Gaza City's outer suburbs and are now just a few kilometers from the city centre despite international calls to halt the offensive.
