Issues may arise between countries depending on the current situation, but the fundamental relationship between Russia and Azerbaijan remains solid, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a press conference in Beijing.
"There are problems. But today, I greeted President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev - we exchanged a few words," Putin stated. "Still, I believe the fundamental nature of Russia-Azerbaijan relations and our mutual interest in their development will ultimately set everything in its proper place."
