The 3+3 format is a long-standing mechanism for interaction between the countries of the South Caucasus, within the framework of which several meetings have been held, said Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, Tasnim reports.
According to him, this mechanism has stood the test of time.
"Regardless of the developments taking place outside the region in resolving Caucasus issues, countries are coming to the conclusion more than ever that it is indispensable to maintain such mechanisms and increase their activity to resolve regional issues," Baghaei noted.
