Any agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will include lifting the blockade on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity, and jurisdiction, as well as unblocking on the basis of reciprocity, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan has stated.
“Any agreement that Armenia will enter into will include lifting the blockade on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and jurisdiction. In our case, all roads and infrastructure passing through Armenia will be under our full sovereignty and jurisdiction, within the framework of our territorial integrity, and will operate in accordance with our legislation,” Rubinyan said.
He added that unblocking must be based on reciprocity, meaning that if roads are opened for Azerbaijan, they must also be opened for Armenia, with mutual benefits.
"This is the truth,” Rubinyan stressed, urging not to pay attention to internal unfounded complaints instructed from outside. He added that “sincere concerns, after additional official information, will certainly be dispelled.”
