Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Mr. Vahagn Afyan, was received at the headquarters of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) by the Council’s Director General, Mrs. K. Nandini Singla, Armenian Embassy in New Delhi said in a statement.
During the meeting, specific initiatives aimed at further deepening the rich cultural ties between Armenia and India were discussed, including matters related to the participation of Armenian cultural troupes in the upcoming 9th edition of the India International Folk Festival to be held this October.
Both sides emphasized the importance of steps aimed at expanding the current mutual recognition between the centuries-old peoples of the two friendly nations.
