Russian President Vladimir Putin cut a panel discussion at a forum short on Thursday, due to a planned call with US President Donald Trump.
“You know, unfortunately, I have to wrap up. I have a protocol event there. I was planning, I don't know, hopefully nothing gets in the way - a conversation with the President of the United State," - Putin said at an exhibition of emerging Russian brands.
Russian and US Presidents are holding their fourth phone conversation within the past month, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said.
The two leaders last spoke on June 14, when they discussed the escalation between Israel and Iran, bilateral relations, and the situation in Ukraine.
