A fire broke out last night at the “Azerbaijanfilm” studio named after Jafar Jabbarly, following an explosion in a building where pyrotechnic materials used in film production were stored. The fire was quickly extinguished thanks to urgent and necessary measures taken by forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Ministry’s press service reports.
It was noted that as a result of the explosion, the structure of the one-story building with a total area of 200 m² was destroyed. Other pyrotechnic materials stored in wooden boxes, three propane gas cylinders, and nearby buildings were protected from the fire. No casualties or injuries were reported.
