Iran finds it unbelievable that Israel could carry out such an attack without US consent or support. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei.
According to him, the Israeli attack excludes any negotiations.
“We cannot talk about peace and negotiations at the same time and allow Israel to violate Iran’s territorial integrity,” the official noted.
Baghaei stated that Tehran holds the US responsible for the consequences of Israel’s action.
At the same time, he reiterated that there has been no final decision yet on the talks scheduled for Sunday with Washington.
Baghaei added that Israel wants to drag Western countries into regional wars and has managed to damage the diplomatic process with this attack.
