I highly appreciate Armenia’s ambitions to join the European Union. As you said, yes, we base our partnership on common values, and in this period we truly share strong European values. This was stated by Slovenian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tanja Fajon, addressing Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a joint press conference.
“EU membership is a complex process, but it is a sovereign decision, and we encourage Armenia to continue the processes of promoting the values of democratization and advancing the fight against corruption. The EU expresses its readiness to support these reforms,” she said.
