On October 10, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan received Isabelle Dumont, adviser to the French President, and Brice Roquefeuil, the French Co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group.
Issues of the regional and international agenda were discussed during the meeting, issues related to the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty, the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh problem were touched upon.
The interlocutors exchanged views on the quadrilateral meeting in Prague on October 6.
The need for the immediate withdrawal of the Azerbaijani armed forces from the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, the repatriation of Armenian prisoners of war, as well as the importance of introducing international mechanisms for monitoring and supervising the border situation was emphasized. In this context, issues related to the agreement reached on the EU civilian mission and the work of the mission were discussed.
Ararat Mirzoyan emphasized the firm position of the French side regarding the recent aggression of Azerbaijan and the efforts made by France to establish stability and security in the South Caucasus.
