Maria Zakharova, the Official Representative of Russian Foreign Ministry accused the Western media in spreading misinformation.
According to her, Russia’s special operation in Ukraine is not directed against the peaceful civilians and Moscow’s goal has never been occupying the territory of the country and overthrowing the current President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Speaker of Russia’s Foreign Ministry mentioned that the Western media distorts the events in Ukraine and provides misinformation to its own population, making people a propaganda tool.
Zakharova accused the Italian La Stampa of presenting the photo of Donetsk after a missile strike as taken in Kyiv and called the publication of German Bild on Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov leaving for Beijing at night a misinformation.
