Today, together with Masanori Fukushima, the Ambassador of Japan to Armenia, we have discussed new ideas and programs implementing which we will not only contribute to the development of existent cooperation between the Yerevan State University and Japanese universities and the establishment of the new ties but also strengthen the Armenian-Japanese friendship. “Together with the Ambassador we recorded the importance of student and lecturer exchange, the implementation of joint research, as well as holding academic and cultural events.
By the way, Masanori Fukushima presented to our students the “MEXT” program by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sport, Science and Technology of Japan, which sets scholarships for those who want to study in the Japanese universities and opens new possibilities for the development of our bilateral cooperation”, he wrote.
