The Prime Minister's messages to the allies

Prior to the July escalation, Azerbaijan had already sharpened its military rhetoric. The leader of the neighboring country, Ilham Aliyev, was trying to prepare the people of Azerbaijan for another armed attack on Armenia and Artsakh. The above facts are clear to us. However, the foreign audience, especially the allied countries, should be informed about it in advance.

During the opening of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's exclusive interview with the authoritative Russian RBC TV channel, the host stressed that the first group to film them came to Yerevan, as Armenia was the first to respond to their inquiries and letters to the country's leaders, and there is no answer from Azerbaijan yet.

Instead of ensuring the well-being of its own people, the Azerbaijani leadership has spent billions of dollars over the years on arms purchases. The best way to justify this expense was to test the weapons purchased in hostilities. The conversation of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan and RBC journalist on the Armenian-Azerbaijani topic began with that emphasis. The Prime Minister also answered the supposed question why this time Azerbaijan attacked not in the direction of Artsakh, but in the direction of Armenia.

Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister) - A week before the attack, an official explanation was spread in Azerbaijan as to why they could not attack in the direction of Artsakh. They said that now we can not attack in the direction of Nagorno Karabakh, because there the armed forces have installed video surveillance devices along the entire border, which monitor the entire movement of the Azerbaijani armed forces. There is only one Azeri village in the direction of their attack, but many densely populated Armenian villages.

In a matter of days, the Armenian armed forces shattered the myth invented by Aliyev for years, that his army could capture Nagorno-Karabakh in 24 hours and reach Sevan. And not only Azerbaijan saw that. The whole world witnessed it.

However, Nikol Pashinyan made a important emphasis: Azerbaijan would not be so daring if it were not the desire of some states to muddy the waters in the Caucasus and the to fully support of Baku.

Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia) - First of all, it is Turkey. That country is most interested in unleashing war. That country has current interests and historical reasons for that. After all, Turkey has not yet given up the idea of committing the Armenian Genocide.

The message of the Prime Minister of Armenia is clear. Turkey's far-reaching plans for the Caucasus have not changed; if they are implemented, Russia will be the first to suffer. And Russia needs stability. Therefore, Moscow was one of the first to make efforts for peace and stability. Emphasizing the stabilizing role of Russia, one of the mediators in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair, Pashinyan addressed the next message. As a strategic ally of Moscow, Yerevan would not allow any provocation to destabilize the region during this difficult economic and epidemic period. And the Apricot Movement started because of the Azerbaijanis was aimed exclusively at sowing internal instability in Russia. Armenia's position on this issue is clear: Russia's internal stability is of strategic importance for Armenia. Armenia would not want Russia to be involved in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict as a party. Yerevan would not ask for support from the CSTO either. there was simply no need for it.

Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia) - A global conflict may start in this region. There are forces that are most interested in global escalation. Take a look at Turkey's policy towards Syria, Iraq, Libya and Greece. It is becoming clear that Turkey is becoming a global threat. From a military point of view, the latest escalation was local. But geopolitically, it was a global escalation. Everyone understood that.

Another important emphasis made by Nikol Pashinyan. It was related to the Armenian-Russian allied relations, whether to recognize the independence of Crimea or not. Armenia has not yet recognized even the independence of Artsakh, but that does not mean that we can not guarantee the security of our compatriots. Some Russian politicians and media outlets have started actively circulating the thesis that after the revolution Armenia is no longer an ally of Russia, the government of our country encourages anti-Russian NGOs. The fact that these organizations have been operating in Armenia for more than a decade can be proved in a few minutes. And the former Armenian authorities did not take any action against them.

Nikol Pashinyan (Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia) - Russia's ally in Armenia is not Pashinyan, Poghosyan, Petrosyan, Sargsyan or Kocharyan, but the people of Armenia. It's a very powerful nuance.

For many years, many politicians have presented themselves as, for example, Russia's sole ally.

During the interview, Nikol Pashinyan spoke about one reality that Azerbaijan, the Co-Chairs and the international community have yet to answer. If Baku is against the phrase "Artsakh is Armenia", why does it agree that the Prime Minister of Armenia should present Nagorno Karabakh at the negotiating table? The Prime Minister noted that in this way Azerbaijan and the other parties involved in the negotiation process actually accept that Artsakh is Armenia. If they do not accept, then the representative of Stepanakert must take part in the negotiations.
