Through the assistance of European Union Armenia is seeking for a market for the consumption of our organic products. Within the framework of this program, 46 farmers, who attempt to grow ecologically clean products without the use of any fertilizers, have received proper training.
Minister of Agriculture Ignati Arakelyan has assured the authors of program being implemented by funds allocated by Brussels and Vienna, that the government is interested in expansion of organic agriculture share, as well as willing to provide financial assistance to the gardeners and processing companies.
