Japan marks 71st anniversary of Hiroshima nuclear bombing. The main ceremony was held at the Peace Park, attended by 50 thousand people.
American nuclear weapons dropped on Hiroshima on August 6th, 1945, leaving about 70-100 thousands dead. A minute of silence was observed at exactly the same hour of the bombshells, accompanied by ringing of bells.
A memorial ceremony was also held at the Peace Pilgrimage Plaque of Children’s Park in Yerevan.
