The staff of Byurakan Observatory is not interested in the so-called neighborhood of Venus and Jupiter. Their interests are deeper – more scientific. Since its foundation the pivot of the research in the observatory has been active processes taking place in the galaxies, the birth of stars, evolution.
Byurakan Observatory is going to mark the 70th anniversary of its foundation in 2016. The observatory, founded by Victor Hambardzumyan during war, needs serious financial investments.
