On August 14, Acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, as part of his working visit to Kyiv, met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleksandr Mischenko.
During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the bilateral cooperation agenda between Armenia and Ukraine, focusing in particular on prospects for intensifying political dialogue, expanding economic ties, and strengthening cooperation in multilateral fora. The positive growth trend in bilateral trade turnover in recent times was also noted.
Vahan Kostanyan and Oleksandr Mischenko emphasized the importance of implementing initiatives aimed at further strengthening people-to-people ties. Humanitarian issues were also discussed.
The Deputy Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Ukraine also exchanged views on regional and international developments, underscoring the importance of advancing stable and lasting peace.
