“I will only be glad if there is peace in Armenia, and I will only be glad if there is reciprocity.” MP Hayk Farmanyan, a member of the National Assembly’s Strong Armenia faction and candidate for chair of the Standing Committee on Financial-Credit and Budgetary Affairs, said this in response to a question from Civil Contract faction MP Natalia Sinoryan about his opinion on the TRIPP project.
“If an issue stems from the interests of the well-being of our country and our citizen, in all honesty, you cannot say that snow is not white. Snow is white.
As for TRIPP, my clear answer is the following: if it is a transit route, there is absolutely no problem; we will even support its development and the establishment of peace,” he said, adding that the word “unimpeded” in the document is a red line, and that it raises questions for him as to what it refers to and how “unimpeded passage” will be implemented.
