I congratulate my colleague Ruben Rubinyan on being nominated by the Board of the Civil Contract party as the candidate for Speaker of the 9th National Assembly. The announcement was made in a Facebook post by National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan.
"I am confident that he will honorably continue the work we started together for the benefit of the Republic of Armenia," the post reads.
Earlier, it was reported that the Civil Contract party had nominated Ruben Rubinyan as its candidate for Speaker of the National Assembly.
