Consultations between the foreign ministries of Armenia and Kazakhstan were held at the Armenian Foreign Ministry on May 15, headed by Armenian Foreign Ministry Secretary General Davit Karapetyan and Head of the Staff of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry Amangeldy Sainov. Medet Makulzhanov, Director of the Human Resources Department of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, also participated in the consultations as part of the Kazakh delegation. The Armenian Foreign Ministry reported this.
During the consultations, the interlocutors addressed a wide range of issues related to cooperation between the staffs of the two countries’ foreign policy agencies.
In particular, the sides exchanged views on the organization of diplomatic service, the training and retraining of personnel, best practices in the field of human resources management, as well as the steps being taken toward the structural and functional modernization of the two ministries.
Both sides emphasized the importance of intensifying direct contacts between the relevant subdivisions of the foreign ministries and holding regular consultations in the context of increasing the effectiveness of diplomatic service and exchanging experience.
