On May 7, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan met with the President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, Armenian Parliament press office reports.
Alen Simonyan thanked the President of Latvia for being in our country in these historical days for Armenia and for expressing support to democratic processes of Armenia.
The President of Latvia in his turn thanked the NA President for warm reception, noting that he is glad to be in Armenia which has chosen the path of reforms and democratic development.
The issues regarding the bilateral relations, the RA-EU agenda, and the ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia were at the core of the interlocutors’ discussions.
Reference was made to regional developments and other issues of bilateral interest.
The President of Latvia, together with the RA NA President, also followed the ongoing regular sittings.
