On April 21, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan received the delegation led by Gilbert-Luc Devinaz, the Head of the France-Armenia Friendship Group of the Senate of the Republic of France, Armenian Parliament Press office reports.
Welcoming the members of the Friendship Group to Armenia, the RA NA President emphasized the importance of organizing such mutual visits in terms of the development of bilateral relations.
The interlocutors focused on the topics regarding the inter-parliamentary cooperation and bilateral ties, the Armenia-EU relations, the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and the issues on regional developments.
Alen Simonyan drew the attention of the delegation of the Senate of the Republic of France to the problem of the captives, persons held and considered missing in Azerbaijan.
