Reuters. Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskiy said on Saturday (March 21) that parts of Ukraine were without electricity following Russian strikes, as a Ukrainian team met with U.S. officials.
He said that repair works were ongoing following the strikes and thanked those working to restore electricity.
Zelenskiy said on Friday (March 20) that teams from Kyiv and Washington would hold talks in the U.S. on the weekend, where they would discuss a wide-ranging drone deal and work on bilateral documents.
He did not specify which documents would be discussed, but Kyiv wants post-war security guarantees from Washington, and to agree a "prosperity plan" for economic revival after fighting ends.
