Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan, a senior member of the ruling Civil Contract Party, said he believes that another section of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border will soon be delimited, following the successful completion of the first phase in Tavush in 2024.
"I should say that in some issues we are the ones hurrying, and in others, the Azerbaijani side is, but the process is continuing, and I believe that in the near future we will delimit another section," Simonyan said at a press briefing, without specifying which part he was referring to.
Commenting on the timeline, the Speaker suggested that the process could take place in the first quarter of next year.
